Leighton Kane

PGA Teaching Professional

Leighton Kane has over 12 years’ experience in coaching. From running junior development programmes to providing a pathway for aspiring professional golfers to develop their golf to the highest level.

Leighton qualified as a PGA professional in 2002 and has been a full time PGA teaching Professional at Hoebridge for the past 9 years. During this time he has gained AA status, and qualified as a Neuro Linguistic Sports Practitioner, which provides both coach and player a format to maximise potential to have a trained swing and trained brain technique.

Leighton is very approachable with a good sense of humour which creates a welcoming atmosphere for family and friends to enjoy the game of golf. He is very committed to delivering the highest standard of coaching in a relaxed environment.

His philosophy is simple - good basic fundamentals allows the golfer to swing the club in a natural way. We are all individuals with different learning styles and abilities and in working together he will tailor the coaching programme to best meet the aspirations of his pupils.

Jon Grant

Jon Grant, Hoebridge Golf Centre, Woking

PGA Teaching Professional

Jon has 25 years of experience in teaching golf and has been a fully qualified PGA Professional for 20 years.  He specialises in 'Results' based, individual coaching using video feedback (e-mailed directly to you after each lesson) and a substantial amount of time putting it all into practice with on course coaching.  If you are interested in a more intensive approach to improving your game and would like part of your coaching to be on the course, Jon will work out a suitable lesson and practice plan for you.

Charlie Tetlow

Charlie Tetlow, PGA Professional, Hoebridge Golf Centre

Charlie introduced to the game by his father from a young age and has never looked back. His passion for coaching the sport and the game has seen him travel from Durham County to L.A California to here in Surrey.

His experience in California enabled him to utilise and develop his knowledge through the latest and most up to date technology on the market such as; Trackman, Swing Catalyst and FlightScope. Charlie’s thirst for knowledge enabled him to pursue and become one of a hand full of Certified TPI Level 2 Golf Instructors and Junior Coaches in South England.

Charlie’s grounded and approachable nature provides a great learning environment of all ages and abilities. He understands every golfer perceive information and learns differently, and has their own individual characteristics. So he caters his programme to the individual whether it’s to improve; swing mechanics, psychologically or physical literacy.

Chris Hebdon

Chris Hebdon PGA Pro, Hoebridge Golf Centre, Woking

PGA Teaching Professional

Chris has been a qualified PGA Golf Professional for over 29 years. In the early 80's he played on the Asian Tour, playing in the Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysian Opens. Chris has taught both adults and juniors and does not have a set method of teaching. He believes each person should be taught on their own merits.

Nick Grant

Nick Grant, PGA Professional, Hoebridge Golf Centre, Woking

PGA Teaching Professional

Nick has 28 years of Professional PGA teaching experience. He successfully created and ran 'Nick Grant Golf Schools' operating in S.E Asia over the last 16 years.

His definitive approach to coaching is to develop the 'complete golfer'. A fun mixture of On Course, Range and Short Game sessions provide the ideal format for golfers to quickly progress.

All lessons are accompanied with video playback, explanation and email follow up.

Chris Aubrey

Chris Aubrey PGA Pro, Hoebridge Golf Centre, Woking

Chris became a qualified PGA professional in 2015. Chris is motivated to help players of all abilities achieve their goals. 

Chris has built up his knowledge during his PGA foundation degree. Chris has learnt from many top coaches including Denis Pugh when he studied at The Golf College. Chris believes that everyone is different, so they should be taught as individuals. Chris uses video in his lessons so that the pupil can easily see the changes which are required to improve their game.
