Jon Grant
Jon has 20 years experience of teaching. Much of this time was spent with the well known and respected National Coach Vivien Saunders. He specialises in long term, individual 'results' based coaching where the majority of time is spent on the golf course working at the real game, versus spending hours on the driving range, Jons ethos is that driving range work should make up a small part of golf tuition, but range work alone can be likened to learning to play tennis by hitting up against a wall. |

During this time he has gained AA status and is also now a qualified Neuro Linguistic Sports Practitioner which provides both coach and player a format to maximise potential and to allow the golfer to have both trained swing and trained brain technique. His philosophy is simple – good basic fundamentals allows the golfer to swing the club in a natural way. We are all individuals with different learning styles and abilities, and in working together he will tailor the programme to best meet the aspirations of his pupils. |

Laurence Pawley
Laurence has recently qualified as a PGA professional with a Foundation Degree from the University of Birmingham. He has also just finished his 3rd year of coaching in the Surrey Futures programme.
Attending the 2011 British Open at Royal St Georges Laurence was lucky enough to be part of the amazing PGA coaching team for the R&A Swing zone, meeting some of the world’s best coaches Butch Harmon and Sean Foley on the range.
‘Sean has given me a greater knowledge and awareness of how a golfer can improve their performance at a greater rate’.
Before turning to golf Laurence had an international swimming career, giving him an insight into what it takes to perform at the highest level of any sport both mentally and physically. His belief is that all practice should be play and performance based, relating every shot taken in practice to a shot taken on the course.
Since qualifying Laurence has mirrored his success as a coach in club fitting. With this knowledge about both swing and equipment he is able to give a greater holistic approach to each individual.
